Q. Why are some stations quieter/lower quality than others?
Answer:
Unfortunately there is no set volume for a radio station. Each station
will choose which volume it will broadcast at which may mean that some
stations will appear louder than others when accessed from the cube
radio.
The Q2 radio is only able to play back radio stations at the same
quality as they are broadcast. With internet radio this can vary widely,
from quality far higher than DAB or FM to very low quality compressed
audio. Unfortunately if a station is broadcast in low quality, there is
nothing the radio can do to improve this. Best find a better station!
