Q. Why can't I download the Q2 Radio app?
Windows
The setup app should run perfectly well on
Windows 7 or 10. The app uses a download manager to check the operating system
of your computer, and whether it already has Java installed, to ensure you
download the correct version of the firmware. This is a very small app that you
will find after you click the download link on the website here.
Sometimes the operating system is suspicious of the download manager, and won't
allow it to work properly; if you see any system warnings, you can safely
ignore these. Depending on your operating system, you might have to adjust your
security settings. Another possibility is that you need to have administrator
rights to run the setup app. To do this, right click the icon and click run as
administrator.
If you are still having problems you can try using the direct download links
here. You will need to choose which operating system you have

Apple iOS
The app can be downloaded here, and has been fully tested and works OK with Mac iOS X. In order
to install the app, you will need to double click the Q2.pkg. You will get a
message telling you that the app is not from an identified developer. Go to
Settings/Security&Privacy and click the “Open anyway” option. The app will
then install. After installation when you run the app, the iOS will flag that it needs Java 6E platform in which to run. If you click the more option
you will be taken to this page to download the legacy version of Java
that you need.
Once you install the deprecated version of Java the app will run
normally.
