From completely flat, the battery will take approx 6 hours to charge. In normal use, if you charge it when the battery warning light first begins to flash, it takes about 3 hours to reach maximum capacity. You can still use the radio while it is charging and you can charge it with the switch in the on or off position.

You cannot charge the battery from the USB connection on your PC and so you must use the mains adapter supplied.

Full charge is indicated by a constant amber LED on the radio (this is only shown when the switch is in the on position).
